Home Office Renovation in Berwyn, PA

This project is very close to me as this was one of the first few projects for my company. Due to the COVID pandemic, my client wanted to give her husband a nicely renovated home office, as he was spending a lot of his time working from his Berwyn home.

She had a small, attached room off her master bedroom which was used as a home office. After our first meeting it was clear that the room needed an upgrade. We went over a few ideas for the design and color scheme and decided that, for maximum space utilization, we would give our client a wall-to-wall desk with drawers and cabinets on either side for extra storage, add recessed lights to brighten up the space, and replace the window treatment. We also changed the wall paint, from dark red walls to a neutral soft white to make the space feel warm and inviting while keeping the golden wallpaper intact. Last but not least, we installed a paneled barn door between the open space of the rooms to give some privacy to the home office. This project took just under 3 months to finish, well under schedule considering the delays of the pandemic.

In the end, the space turned out to be extremely beautiful, warm, and welcoming. The client was so happy that she could give her husband something he could enjoy while working long hours and feel relaxed at the same time.
